Saudi Arabia is considering implementing rent caps for residential and commercial properties to combat rising prices, as confirmed by Abdullah Al Hammad, CEO of the Real Estate General Authority. This initiative, part of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's strategy, aims to increase housing supply and regulate lease agreements. Additionally, the Royal Commission for Riyadh City plans to provide 10,000 to 40,000 residential plots annually, with prices capped at SR1,500 per square meter for eligible citizens.
